จะว่าไปแล้ว ทีวีเป็นเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า ที่เคยเรียกได้ว่า ซื้อครั้งเดียวใช้สิบปี เพราะว่า เทคโนโลยีของวงการทีวีเมื่อหลายสิบปีก่อนมันแทบไม่มีความแตกต่างแบบเห็นได้ชัด แต่ในสมัยนี้ ต้องบอกว่า ความสามารถของทีวี มันบ้าพลังมากๆ จาก Plasma -> LCD -> LED -> OLED แถมความละเอียดจาก full HD กลายเป็น 4K ดูกันทีตาฉ่ำไปเลย
ทีนี้ทาง LG หลังจากที่โชว์ ทีวีรุ่นใหม่ในงาน CES 2016 แล้ว Line up ของจอทีวีรุ่นใหม่ก็เริ่มออกวางจำหน่ายแล้ว ผมเลยมาสรุปความเปลี่ยนแปลงของ ทีวีแบบ Super UHD OLED ของ LG ให้ดูกันครับ

จอภาพแสดงสีดำได้ดำอย่างถึงที่สุด

ความโคตรเจ๋งของจอภาพแบบ OLED ก็คือ การที่ตัวจอมันสามารถแสดงแสงสีออกมาได้ด้วยตัวเองโดยที่ไม่จำเป็นต้องพึ่งไฟ Backlight ในการส่องแสงสว่างเหมือนจอเก่าๆอีกต่อไป ดังนั้น การแสดงสีดำบนจอภาพ OLED ก็จะเป็นแค่การดับไฟบนหลอดภาพเท่านั้นผลก็คือ ทำให้ภาพสีดำที่ได้บนจอ OLED ของ LG เป็นสีดำที่ดำสนิทจริงๆ

จะว่าไปเวลาพูดถึงความสามารถนี้ทีไร หลายๆคนจะนึกไม่ออกว่าแล้วมันดียังไงหว่า ก็อยากจะบอกว่า ลองไปยืนดูที่ Showroom ของทาง LG ก็ได้ครับ แต่ภาพสีดำ ดำสนิท สีอื่นๆที่เหลือ ก็สามาารถระเบิดความ Colorful กันได้โคตรเต็มที่เลย

ความสามารถในการไล่สีได้แบบนุ่มนวลมากขึ้น

Smoother transition from black to above-black: While the above-black handling on 2015 OLEDs occurred in “jumps”, this year there’ll be a smoother gradation. We were shown a test pattern consisting flashing above-black bars which exhibited clear definition from zero black 16 and just barely visible 17 bars to progressively brighter 18 and 19.

Higher peak brightness: LG claimed some of its new OLED televisions this year can hit 800 nits. Last year’s models topped out at 450 nits, which will have implications for HDR remapping.

Dolby Vision HDR: LG is the only television brand in the UK and Europe to support the Dolby Vision HDR standard which uses dynamic metadata to achieve scene-by-scene optimisation, therefore minimising inaccurate distortion and preserving image fidelity.

WebOS 3.0 The third iteration of LG’s Smart TV platform is faster (hardware upgrade) and even more intuitive to use.
